Dear Laura,

2009 has finally arrived!  The roller coaster year that was 2008 has past. A new year brings hope of a fresh start, both economically and politically. In the spirit of new beginnings we bring you our first e-newsletter of the year. We hope this issue "cheers you on" as you continue to serve your clients with excellence in 2009.
Fresh Start 2009!

The Importance of Community

None of us is as smart as all of us.
- Japanese Proverb

The businesses that will rise out of the current economic climate are those that are determined to innovate even in these slower times. Not only will these businesses survive the downturn, but they will come out on the other side leaner, more efficient and ready to go. Because they have been innovating the entire time, their minds will be sharp and the ideas will be fresh...ready to be funded with increasing capital.

However, it should be noted that innovation does not take place in a vacuum. Despite history's herald of "the lone genius", truly productive invention calls for a team approach.

Let innovate together as a business community in these challenging times. Our mission is to support your company by helping you keep the promises you make to your policyholders. Let us aspire to say we not only survived, but thrived in 2009!
